CBI Arrests Journalist in Jharkhand, Searches Conducted in Gujarat Over NEET Leak

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a journalist, Jamaluddin, in connection with the NEET paper leak case. The arrest was made in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, where searches are also underway. This comes after two individuals, Manish Prakash and Ashutosh, were arrested in Patna, Bihar, for allegedly providing leaked papers and answer keys to candidates. The CBI has also arrested the principal and vice principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh in connection with the case. The agency is investigating alleged irregularities in the NEET exam, with searches ongoing at seven locations across Gujarat and Jharkhand.
