Heavy rainfall in Ayodhya has exposed the town's infrastructure weaknesses, just six months after the grand opening of the Ram Temple. The newly built Ram Path road has suffered cave-ins and potholes, prompting authorities to repair the 14-km stretch. Three PWD engineers have been suspended for negligence. However, Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Temple Trust, claims that the temple's drainage system is excellent and no water has entered the sanctum sanctorum.
