Three Militants Killed in Doda Encounter in Jammu, Linked to June 11 Attack

Three militants, suspected to have crossed from across the border and involved in the June 11 attack on a special police officer (SPO) in Gandoh, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday. The militants opened fire on security personnel during a combing operation in Gandoh, injuring SPO Ashiq Hussain. Senior police officials, including ADGP Anand Jain, supervised the operation, recovering the bodies along with two M4 rifles, an AK-47, ammunition, and explosives. The militants are believed to belong to the same group that previously attacked security forces in the area.
