The Ambedkar International Centre (AIC) is set to unveil the 'Statue of Equality,' a 19-foot tall sculpture of B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of India's Constitution, in Maryland on October 14. Crafted by renowned artist Ram Sutar, the statue will be the tallest representation of Ambedkar outside India. Situated at the AIC in Accokeek, Maryland, the statue pays tribute to Ambedkar, who chaired the Constituent Assembly's Drafting Committee and played a crucial role in shaping India's Constitution. This replica mirrors the world's largest 125-foot Ambedkar statue unveiled in Hyderabad recently.
