The Bengaluru court rejected the bail plea of Prajwal Revanna, a suspended JD-S leader accused of rape. Revanna, 33, was arrested by a Special Investigation Team on May 31 after returning from Germany. Explicit videos allegedly showing him surfaced before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, leading to multiple sex crime allegations. The JD-S suspended him following these accusations. His brother, Suraj Revanna, is also facing charges of sexual abuse. Both are grandchildren of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.
