A senseless act of violence claimed the life of Hemant Mistry, a 59-year-old Indian American motel manager in Oklahoma. Mistry was fatally punched by a stranger, Richard Lewis, 41, in a motel parking lot on Saturday night. Police responded to the assault around 10 p.m. and rushed Mistry to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Lewis was arrested and taken into custody.
