Pune Teen Granted Bail in Fatal Porsche Crash Case, to Leave Remand Home Today

A Pune court has granted bail to a 17-year-old boy accused of causing a fatal crash while allegedly driving a Porsche under the influence on May 19. The high-speed collision with a motorcycle resulted in the deaths of engineers Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. The boy’s parents, Vishal and Shivani Agrawal, were arrested for allegedly tampering with his blood samples to obstruct the investigation. Following the court’s decision, the teen, currently in an observation home, is set to reside with his aunt upon release. The police submitted a detailed report to the Juvenile Justice Board before the bail was granted.
