In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a 20-year-old man was tricked into a sex change surgery by his friend Omprakash Pal, who conspired with staff at Begrajpur Medical College. Lured to the hospital under false pretenses, the victim was sedated and operated on. Upon awakening, he was told he must marry Pal and relocate.
