Bihar’s Economic Offences Unit (EOU) arrested Baldev Kumar and four others in Jharkhand’s Deoghar for possessing solved NEET-UG 2024 question papers a day before the test. On May 4, Kumar received the solved papers via PDF, which were printed and distributed to candidates at a hostel. The EOU found evidence of an organized network responsible for leaking, distributing, and transporting candidates. The case, now under CBI investigation, includes seized materials linking the gang to the leaked papers, continuing efforts to dismantle this inter-state cheating ring.
