North India Heatwave Subsides; Monsoon Approaching East UP, Delhi Expects Moderate Rain

The heatwave across North India has begun to relent, with temperatures dropping by 2-3 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) lifted heatwave warnings, except for isolated areas in West Uttar Pradesh and Jammu division. Monsoon progress continues, expected to reach East Uttar Pradesh in 3-4 days. Moderate rain is forecasted for Delhi today due to a western disturbance. Heavy to very heavy rainfall hit several regions recently, with IMD predicting further rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi.
