Communal Clashes in Odisha's Balasore, Curfew Imposed

The violence erupted over allegations of cow slaughter during a religious celebration, leading to stone pelting and arson. At least 15 people, including five policemen, were injured. The situation escalated at night, with houses and vehicles set on fire. Police resorted to blank firing to control the situation. Section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed in the area.
