A tempo traveller carrying over 23 passengers fell into a deep gorge on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Eight people were killed, and 15 others injured, with the death toll expected to rise. Rescue efforts by SDRF and police are underway, with some injured airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh.
