Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife Pavithra Gowda have been arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy, a fan, whose body was found in a stormwater drain in Kamakshipalya. Newly surfaced CCTV footage from a Chitradurga toll plaza shows a white car allegedly used to transport Renukaswamy to Bengaluru. Initially taken in an auto rickshaw, Renukaswamy was later shifted to this car, rented by the accused. Police discovered the crime after a food delivery person alerted them to dogs eating the victim's body. A total of 16 arrests have been made, including Darshan and Pavithra.
