4, Including 3 Forest Workers, Killed in Fire at Uttarakhand's Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary

A fire broke out in Uttarakhand's Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary on Thursday, killing four people. The victims include three forest workers: Diwan Ram (35), Karan Arya (21), and Trilok Mehta (56), and a Prantiya Rakshak Dal worker, Pooran Mehra (52). The incident occurred in the Civil Soyam forest division at around 3:30 pm. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep sorrow and announced Rs 10 lakh for the families of the deceased. He also ordered the immediate airlifting of four injured forest workers to Haldwani Base Hospital.
