Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday to address the recent surge in terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, targeting Reasi, Kathua, and Doda districts. Joined by NSA Ajit Doval, PM Modi directed the deployment of all counter-terror resources to restore peace. Following discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Modi emphasized enhancing security and counter-terror operations. In response, security forces launched extensive searches in the affected districts. J&K Police have released sketches of suspects and announced a ₹20 lakh reward for information leading to their arrest.
