A devastating fire engulfed a six-storey building in Mangaf, Kuwait, early Wednesday morning, claiming the lives of 49 people, predominantly Indian migrant workers. Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh confirmed that over 40 of the deceased were Indians, with some bodies burnt beyond recognition. More than 50 others sustained injuries in the blaze, which started in the building rented by the NBTC group.
