This figure is significantly lower than the global thriving average of 34%. The report, assessing employee mental health and wellbeing, found that South Asia, including India, reported the lowest percentages of thriving individuals. Despite high daily anger levels at 35%, India's employee engagement rate stands at 32%, surpassing the global average of 23%. This underscores a disconnect between employee engagement and overall wellbeing in India.
