Two terror attacks rocked Jammu and Kashmir's Doda and Kathua districts on Tuesday, leaving one CRPF jawan dead and seven security personnel injured. In Doda, terrorists attacked a joint Army-police checkpost, sparking a fierce gunfight that injured five troopers and a special police officer. The Kashmir Tigers, a Jaish-e-Mohammed-linked group, claimed responsibility. In Kathua, a CRPF jawan was critically injured in a terrorist attack and later succumbed to his injuries. Two terrorists were killed in a subsequent search operation. The attacks have raised concerns about the resurgence of terror in the region.
