Six Naxalites with ₹38 Lakh Bounty Killed in Chhattisgarh Encounter

Six Naxalites, including three women, were killed by security forces in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, police reported. These militants, part of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army’s military company no. 6 and the East Bastar division of the banned Communist Party of India, had a total bounty of ₹38 lakh. The encounter took place near Gobel and Thulthuli villages under Orcha police station limits on Friday. Initially, seven deaths were reported, but the number was later corrected to six. This operation is the largest against PLGA company no. 6, creating fear among Naxalites in their stronghold of East Bastar.
