Former business partner and childhood friend of cricketer MS Dhoni, Mihir Diwakar, was arrested by Jaipur Police for allegedly defrauding Dhoni of over ₹15 crore. Diwakar, also a former cricketer, co-owned Aarka Sports and Management Limited with Dhoni. The complaint alleges Aarka Sports violated contract terms by not paying franchise fees and profits, setting up academies without Dhoni's knowledge, and using his name without consent. Despite revocation of authority in 2021, the firm allegedly continued operations. Dhoni's lawyer claims breach of agreement led to the loss.
