The BJP has released its first candidate list for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, naming 66 candidates for 68 seats. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has removed Jharkhand’s acting Director General of Police (DGP), Anurag Gupta, citing past complaints. A Delhi court granted bail to AAP leader Satyendar Jain, arrested on May 30, 2022, by the Enforcement Directorate on money laundering charges.
