Referring to the Constitution’s original copy, he noted its depiction of Indian culture. He emphasised that the sentiment of “nation first” will sustain the Constitution for centuries.

An explosion in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, killed four people and injured five others when it caused three houses to collapse in Rathore Colony. The blast occurred around midnight, and rescue teams quickly reached the site. Police and municipal teams worked to recover the bodies and help the injured. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the explosion. Some reports suggest gunpowder might have caused the blast, while intact LPG cylinders were found. The injured have been sent to Gwalior for further treatment. The cause of the explosion will be determined after forensic analysis.

Two crude bomb explosions occurred outside two clubs in Chandigarh’s Sector 26 on Monday night. One of the clubs, Seville Bar and Lounge, is owned by rapper Badshah. CCTV footage shows a man throwing bombs and fleeing the scene. The blasts shattered window panes but caused no injuries. Police are investigating the incident, suspecting an extortion attempt or a dispute between the club partners. Senior police officials visited the site and are exploring other possible angles. Badshah, who opened Seville last year, co-owns other restaurants and is known for his songs in Hindi, Punjabi, and Bollywood films.

Violence erupted in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, during a court-ordered survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid, resulting in four deaths. Three men, including Vivek Sharma and Amit Singh, died in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly after their car, guided by Google Maps, drove onto an under-construction bridge and plunged 50 feet into the Ramganga River. The victims were en route from Gurugram to a wedding. Locals discovered the damaged vehicle the next morning and alerted the police. Families accused construction officials of negligence, questioning the absence of barricades. Police have recovered the bodies and initiated investigations. "There should have been proper warnings at the site," a grieving family member said. An FIR against the construction department has been demanded.            

Four people died and 20 police officers were injured during violent protests in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, over a mosque survey ordered by a local court. The mosque is alleged to have been built by demolishing a temple during the Mughal era. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered, and 21 people, including two women, have been detained.

A Delhi court ordered charges, including murder, arson, and rioting, against 25 accused in the 2020 Delhi riots case that resulted in Head Constable Ratan Lal's death. The court noted the mob's "preplanned criminal conspiracy" and violent intent during protests against CAA/NRC. The Supreme Court flagged lapses in the implementation of GRAP Stage 4 restrictions aimed at controlling Delhi’s severe air pollution. Despite the "severe-plus" Air Quality Index (AQI) levels, the court found that heavy vehicles were still entering the capital, violating the curbs. The court ordered the Delhi government and police to provide CCTV footage from 13 entry points to verify compliance. Additionally, 13 lawyers were appointed to report on whether non-essential trucks and light commercial vehicles were allowed entry. The next hearing is set for November 25.
