Sources have revealed that the shooters responsible for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique had initially planned to target Bollywood actor Salman Khan. However, the attack was thwarted due to the actor's tight security, according to the accused's confessions. The shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, had earlier opened fire outside Salman Khan's residence in April, an incident claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Khan has been repeatedly targeted with threats from the gang, leading to increased security measures, including Y+ security and advanced surveillance systems. Siddique was killed in October outside his son’s office in Mumbai.
